Respite for Carers

If you're caring for a loved one who's ageing or who has a disability, chronic condition or mental illness, we understand the challenges you face and know how important it is for you to take a short break to relax and re-energise.

We can provide you with a range of respite services in your home or at Tandem House, enabling you to take a break, manage work commitments, handle family responsibilities or even enjoy a holiday away.  Your loved one also benefits by getting out and about, meeting new people and engaging in activities they enjoy.

Every care situation is different so we aim to be as flexible as possible to create the respite arrangement that works best for you and your family.

Our Professional Staff

You can be confident in the care delivered by our professional and qualified team.

We want you to consistently experience the highest standard of care, and we do this by continually developing the skills and training of our staff.

Additionally, all DUO personnel undergo Australian Federal Police and Working With Vulnerable People checks so you can feel comfortable and secure with the people you allow into your home.
